Not a new composition, but “New And Improved.”

This was originally a solo piano improve, but I added strings and much more emotion and dynamics to it.

Inspired by my fave long lost TV show “Silk Stalkings”, I started writing this fusiony tune last week (2/2010) -- still under construction. This is take 3.

I plan to hand over the guitar shredding to JK in the final mix, but you’ll get the idea of where I was going.

Even the drums are wrapped in rich melty phasers and chorus.

This song was inspired by a long night out on an awesome date in Philadelphia, and is partially based on a fusion song I wrote in high school with drummer Rick Davis.

On this date, we ended up hitting a jazz club, but Jean and I started at a hotel bar with a very impressive jazz singer. I was mesmerized.

Anyway, when you’re in Philly, don’t forget to check out the jazz clubs!

7 is a number associated with mystery and intrigue in esoteric numerology. I am fascinated by numbers and numerology, so I tend to name some songs based on the personality of numbers.

7 is a work in progress, right now I consider this a “pencil drawing” , not a full illustration of the idea.

I wrote this a few years ago and I plan to redo it when I finally upgrade to Logic.

Back in 1984 I got to occasionally take a Korg Poly 6 and sometimes a Poly 61 home from the music store I worked at. There’s a feature called “Chord Memory” that I think helped create some of the more complex Deep House music out today.

Looking forward to adding more analog sounds back to my lineup!
